Abstract Submission:

Deadline for abstract submission to be considered for a short talk or pre-recorded flash talk: 08/01/2025

Deadline for poster-only submission: 08/22/2025

Abstracts are being accepted for selection for short talk (12 min talk, 3 min questions), pre-recorded flash talk (90 seconds, 1 slide) and poster presentation. Pre-recorded flash talks are poster primers and are ideal for post-docs, pre-docs, and trainees. Poster presentation is required for abstract talk consideration. Select all presentation types for which you would like to be considered. See submission instructions for more details.

The best undergraduate student, graduate student, and postdoctoral presentation winners will receive a travel award to present at the 2026 SDB Annual Meeting. Current SDB membership (2025 dues paid) at time of abstract submission is required to be eligible for these awards.

If you are not a current member, renew or join before submitting your abstract.

Abstract submission is separate of meeting registration.

Register for the meeting if you have not already done so.
